Just updating this, managed to get a set of shafts from J&R Shafts for £80 each plus postage. Seem to be good quality and they have good stock of MK1 shafts

I got a couple of pairs for my rs3 5 to make up custom test shafts and were very reasonable and quality looked fine. Chunk cheaper than 2nd hand options also :person_shrugging:
