A little reminder of what this previously entailed…
In October 2022 we attended a huge event called Losange Passion International, supported by Renault classic held at ETAC/Autodrome de Linas-Montlhery to celebrate 50 years of the Renault 5 GT Turbo, have a look here to see the 2022 thread, 1/10/22 Losange passion international, supported by Renault classic).
Our previous trip’s into Europe incorporated Reims and the Nurburgring, ducking into Paris and other cities or sights that we could fit in and around everyone.
Track time is due to be released January 28th - you need to monitor LPI2026 to avoid disappointment
Event Registration Information
It is mandatory to register in advance to participate in the event: no registration will be possible on-site.
Book ferry or euro tunnel in advance as possible - there are hotels near Dover if you wanted to break the drive up
Before you head into Europe - consider how you want to pay for the toll roads, if you sign up for this tag it’ll save you fumbling around at the booths - Emovis Tag UK
There are a couple of Routes to the hotel, on the last trip we avoided the central ring road but we can discuss this closer to the event
Dont forget your GB plates, usual European drivings necessities etc - MAKE SURE YOUR BREAKDOWN COVER IS SUFFICIENT
Make sure your insurance covers European driving - it is default for some but not for a large number of providers
COMMUNICATION - on a previous trip we used radios to communicate between all of us, great idea and something we definitely need to do again
Do not forget your passport (maybe this should’ve been No.1?)[/I]
@Millie_Bee and I already booked up the Hotel for this EPIC event, which is by far our favourite.
We’ll either be going in this again so we can both drive:
I was talking to Mich about leaving a day or so earlier, quite fancy exploring around Paris then onto the show.
I know it’s a way off but Ade but if you defo go for it, happy to be the support vehicle and company on the trek - itll be at Michs pace unlike the Calais to Montelhery stint at warp factor 9 last time round
