anyone ever had a go with one of the A3 S3’s?

Had a go with one on the way out of town today early shape had the ‘s3’ badge on the back. Over the lengh of a Dual Carriageway with a couple of roundabouts thrown in and he only managed to get about 2 car lengths on me and it stayed at that up to DC speeds 
are they not v quick or was it a fake? lol it was a older guy in his 30’s drivin so i would of thought not.
slow driver, the a3s are pretty rapid and will hand a 16v its ass to it very easily.
I raced a S3 in Mrs Naples and barely pulled away from in tbh so either a crappy driver or a 1.8t badged up as a S3 matey!! 
i have fucked off a newer one ov these cars round a bend dunno wt engine tho cud av bin the 1.8 20v turbo not sure tho
ahh jst looked at figures on parkers, seems there 210bhp and 0-60 in 6.6. pretty fast then
theres so many diff models of the a3 you could get a bit lost lol
1.8t 150 bhp fwd
1.8t 180bhp 4wd
s3 (baby) circa 210bhp 4wd
s3 daddy 225bhp 4wd
they have same 1.8t as the golf and seat leon
the golfs have the 150, 180 1.8t models then the 2.3 V5(170BHP), 2.8 V6(200bhp) and 3.2 V6 (R32)
Some audis also share the 3.2 V6 lol
The models are mad lol. Sooooo many diff types
how the hell can a 2.8 v6 only give 200bhp wot crap that car must be! ive driven my mates 1.8t golf with the ecu remapped to 180 and dat feels quick
