Im looking to get some coilovers that someone is selling on WilliamsClio but want some more opinions on whether I should or not. Would you say they are worth £100 delivered?
He says they are ‘ktec ultimate’ but I cant find any by this name on ktec’s site. Anyone heard of them before?
Here are a couple of pics of them, he said they are as new, they look pretty good in the photos tbh.
Also does anyone know the seller and if he is a genuine seller? I’m probably being over cautious but its best to be safe! I’m going to pay by cheque so I will have a name and address to chase up if I have any problems.
ive got some again not fitted as i need to send them off to get the oil seals repaired. i have also been told they are pretty shocking, but i only wanted them for looks not performance wise. Price wise i got mine for 60 off ebay, but they dint come with topmounts and obviously need a refurb. So id say 100 is a pretty good price. Ktec dont sell them anymore but they do offer a sercive if you have proof of purchase and is less than 2 years old i think.
I would be interested to hear what you have heard about them, I have done a search amd found a couple of old threads were both of you have commented as above. What makes them crap? is it crashy ride, bad build quality, only good at certain ride heights? any info greatly appreciated
its danny mays selling them mate, i listed them on here aswell, i think hybrid hughes went to look at them and wasnt impressed. also danny has proven to be a bit of a bugger to get hold of, comes through in the end but takes a lot of badgering as harry will atest to
