Yokohama s.drive Tyres

Hi All,

I know there have been a lot of recent threads about the Falkens and front tyres for the ph2 but here goes another one:

Looking to get some new front tyres for my ph2 vee, has anyone ever used the Yokohama s.drive they do them in the 205/40 R18 86Y will these fit and are they any good?

Or should I just follow the trend and go for the Falken FK452's and run 215/40 18 89Y?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I have Yokohama A048's I think - good tyre in the dry and good grip.

Not so great in the wet but then I think they are rated as semi slicks / less tread on them so not too surprising

i've just put falken FK452's in 215/40/18, really impressed to be fair! I'd even say they feel better then the michelins tbh

Hi

I have the Yokohama S Drives on my JCW on 18"s. I've just changed the fronts at 9000 miles so, not bad on wear. Nothing bad to report and at least better than the wooden run-flats that came with the car. :approve:
