Driving home tonight the car went all lumpy and the engine light went on. Runs likle a tractor and no real power.

Would take it it's a coil gone down

Will it do any real damage driving to work while waiting for parts?Only a 4.5 mile trip.

And does anyone have a part number as my local dealers not to bright!

advisory to drive it as little as possible dude..can badly damage the cats..and they are uber expensive :(

Cheer's guy's, cant believe that the main stealers don't stock the coils.

Do all the engine covers have to come off? Or just the removable ones?

if its under the plenum...yes..all covers and surrounds will have to come off..

if its one of the front 3 (nearest the seats) then you can do it through the top 2 covers, really easy those ones :):)

3 front's are going to be done first, already got a slipped disc so not looking forward to doing this little job!

Yippeeeee, all done. Changed the easy ones first and found a chaffed wire near the plug.

Sleeved cable and changed all three coils and back on all 6.
