Rite, Beaten to it on the picture front by Colin...But i had a wee blast on Photoshop, pretty much ruin'd every pic but i was only muckin about...

Anyway, Agree'd to do colin's Vee a coupe of wks ago, After sayin i never wanted to do another!

Colin arrived about 9ish, greeted wi bacon rolls! - Pro detailin service this! ;) - not to mention having my Vee as his courtesy car for the day! ;)
Had a quick look over the car which was pretty spotless, even after a 2hr drive north to paradice!

Foamed it up with maxisuds and then went to have some breaky, Wheels were also sprayed with autosol diluted chemical.

Anyway came back, fired on my faithful GDi jumper, And gave the bus a scrub, wasn't till we dried it you could feel the roughness and defects on the paint surface. It was by no means bad, but definetly correctable. We also noted down all the marks Colin wasn't happy with, a number of scratches, etchings and overspray from the recent touch up.

Didn't take any pics before as there was no real benefit, the light was crap and my photography skills are naff too!

Taped up with 3m tape and proceeded to polish...

To cut a long story short the procedure took about 8-9hrs.

Menz 3.02 on both 4 & 6in edge cutting pads.
CG Crystal wet glaze
Jeff's sealant
50/50

Plastics done with AG bumper gel and Tyres with CG trim gel.

What can i say, the results were mind blowing, i'm pretty sure Colin was happy by the look on his face when it was out in the light, both went for a pose round town and then back to the house for some pics.

Enjoy the pics, if any body want hi res give us a shout.

The two of them look fantastic!!! :approve: :approve:

Well done Ali. Are you still up for making the video?

This cleaning jargon has got me baffled. All these code names and stuff.

Colin. I feel like you've cheated on me!!! I asked you to recommend what to use on my car. You tell me what to get. I spend 80 quid gettng the stuff and then you go and get someone else to do it. Your just a cheap slag!!!!!! :D :D :D

Seriously, the pics look exceptional. Really like the last one of Colin's. 10 out of 10 guys.

PMSL alex...as good as all hand products I reccomended to you are...any car will need a PC at least once a year...i need to re-stock on some products to keep it tip-top now!!

yes...however...i am a cheap slag...;)

Which last one, the one of colins or the one of both ours?

since you put the photo shop one up, hi rez of that,

but initially i meant a hi rez of colins the last one in your first post)

both them on hi rez would be very desktop backgrounds

Both them vees look absolutely stunning. Im well impressed fellas.

Wish mine looked like that its got battle scars all over it. :(
