If its breathable I would leave it on, saves dirt dulling the paint over time.
Had mine out for the last dry day during the week there. The back end stepped out twice in 5 mins, was enough for me to call it a day. All washed and tucked away in my lockup now :approve:
Still need to get a proper cover for mine though to keep any crap off the paint. Bought one from covermycar but not happy with it, seems a bit rough even though its fully breathable
Clicked on this link thinking I'd be getting some good advice on winter tyre selection, or perhaps some hints on ice driving techniques... but no.. just comparisons of car blankets. Just jealous as missed my chance to get the Vee parked up in father-in-laws nice warm garage and now looking out the window at it covered in snow !!!
Mine's not been covered or stored this year until after some work been done. Only problem is i need to put the Evo in the garage as it doesn't like not been touched for 2 weeks- which meant i had to get the vee out the garage- been stood for 5 weeks to jump start it!
Mines on the driveway, uncovered and still 100% waterproof. My Mini on the other hand has been dry strored in a fancy heated garage for over 5 years now. I'm looking forward to getting it back in the spring as I haven't seen it for atleast 4 years so it'll be like unearthing my very own barn find!
Well mine will be used all winter long, apart from in the snow when I'll car share with mrs r. Still too new for me to just use another car. Maybe get a daily runabout next year...
