Window mech assy

I've had my Vee for nearly four years and i'm now about to repair the driverside window mech assy for the second time round [smilie=icon_cry.gif] , so how many times has everyone else done theres?

Mine has air con so i deleted the opening windows when I ordered it - its an old Baja racing principal, if it's not on the car it can't break!!!

Did the same with the tyres - never had a puncture and tyre wear is no issue at all, brilliant!

Not had any issues (yet) seldom open the windows maybe that's why?

Have you renewed every part related to the window?

Yep changed it all, perhaps it's due to having the QS back box :wink:

Yup, mine snapped it's plastic bracket a couple of months back on my way back from Birmingham. This may support your theory behind the QS back box [smilie=icon_cyclops_ani.gif]
