WILL MK1 CATS FIT MK2 SYSTEM ????

I have provisionally bought some decatted cats from a mk1 any one know if they will replace directly onto a mk2???

As far as im aware yes. But don't qoute me on that 1. Best ppl 2 ask are the experts. MikeT or TRW1 are the best bet.

no they will not mk2 flanges are square with 4 bolts mk1 1s are oval with 2 bolts and they dont line up and if you need the gaskets from the collector they are 20 quid each really sting in the arse

are you not thinking about the back box digger ?? im on about the catalytic converters pre collector...

the flanges from the down pipes are oval on mk1 square on mk2 thats why they dont fit and thats why i have 2 back boxes on my kitchen floor that dont fit down pipes to collector oval mk1 square mk2 just dont want anyone else to have the same nitemare iam having
