Who are you with and how do you rate them.

Can people put down who they are with currently and a mark out of 10. Nice and short.

Just thought that it would be useful to have a nice quick list to look at. I know everyone will have a price variation from different ages etc but may highlight companies that are good and bad.
Many thanks Blakey :)

Mine is not insured for the road at the moment, so looking for a good place to go with.

Tesco - as i was 8 months through a policy, they were far more pricey than i wanted to be but didnt want to loose the no claims id built up.

3/10

Elephant/Admiral are cool if you've no claims in the last 3 years ... but penalize you if you have, even if they're no fault claims! I had somebody tap the back of my 172 whilst I was stationary in traffic just prior to getting my Vee, and the impact was +£100 per annum with Admiral since "computer says no" when it comes to them showing any intelligence.

Hence for the last 3 years I've been insured through a broker called Noel Dazely who've bettered Admiral's price and been open to discussion :).

Just got a quote from Elephant for my insurance due in may. £570. That's with 11yrs NCB, No points etc 29yo.

Can't seem to get anyone to dip below this not for want of trying!

I'm with Greenlight and just had to pay a £25 admin fee just to change my number plate details.
Needless to say... I wont be renewing with them.
