Which oil grade?

New Member
Just looking through the service sheet on my Vee and have noticed the oil used is Silkolene 15w-50 Pro R but when looking in the Renault service book it states to use 5w-40, a bit confused now...:? Is it OK to run with the 15w-50 Pro R oil or should I only be running the 5w-40?

Oli, stop panicking! Your car was serviced by one of the best specialist V6 Companies in the business. Scott, at SG Motorsport, knows his onions (& his V6s). In fact, when it's time for its next service, or if you need any work doing, I would strongly recommend you take it to him.

PS. I'm not getting commission for saying that! :lol:
