Wheel Colour Change? Opinions

OK, so 16" OZ Super Leggeras will go on the Petrol Blue Clio 182. I love the OE look of the anthracite wheels on the car so I'm after opinions on whether the silver look of the Super L's will either enhance the look of the Clio or ruin it. Paint them a different colour?

Silver, Anthracite, Red?

it depends what you what from the car, like nick says silver will give you the bright shine and work against the paint great, anthracite will give you the slightly dark and moodier look.

Now you say that I think it could work both ways ( Confusing!) the silver could match the bullets but the idea of anthracite was to tone them down and to match the colour of the OE wheel. With anthracite my thinking is you get to see the spokes still unlike Satin or Gloss Black

Petrol Blue is a lovely colour and would def be complimented by a strong bright silver. Team Dynamics do silver and then Hi-Power Silver, the latter would suit petrol blue.

Interesting thread. My old alloys need a refurb and ive been toying with the same question for about 4 weeks now. Silver or a grey colour. Ive still not decided. I think im going to have to get on photo shop and see what they would look like.

Whatever colour I choose I'll be doing them myself so they won't be powder coated, it's all down to costs. RE track wheel I did think red as a contrast to the blue. Briggs they look pretty clean in the silver as they are, what I didn't want to do was fit them in silver with tyres then not like the look. It would then mean having to mask the tyres either side pre painting. While there's no tyres fitted I thought I could try and make an executive decision, I don't think fitting just the wheel to the car jacked up will give me an idea of how the silver will look on the Petrol Blue without a tyre.
