Wheel brush and under the hood clean

Evening,

Looking to purchase a few bits for general cleaning and wondered which brush people use to clean the whole wheel (ie a long brush)? Do people use the wheel woolies, not sure if the 3 inch diameter is bit wide on the large brush as the car is in the lock up till the weekend so can't take a ruler to measure [smilie=doubt.gif]

I also want to clean underneath the bonnet as it hasn't been done in a little while so simple bucket with a good shampoo and mitt? Once clean I'll wipe the lot with ferrosol

If your cleaning under the bonnett I would remove the battery, spray with APC then use a detailing drush to get into the hard to get to places then rinse. You can use a mit and shampoo to do the begger areas, just keep the water ways from the fan motors but otherise nothing to harm with the water.
