What's It Worth?

Good afternoon chaps,

I'm thinking of selling my Clio, but I'm a little unsure of the value. It'd be greatly appreciated if I could have some input please.

Phase 1 number 486
Iceberg Silver
76,000 miles
Full service history
All previous MOT's
Folders full of invoices and receipts

The car was recently given a huge service consisting of:

New cambelt and pulleys
New waterpump
New alternator belt, pulleys and tensioner
New crankshaft pulley and bolt
New clutch
New slave cylinder
New accelerator cable
Gearbox oil change
Transmission oil change
Engine oil change
New oil filter
New fuel filter
New pollen filter
Pipercross enclosed air filter removed and thoroughly cleaned
New spark plugs
All 6 coils tested
Front brake discs
Front brake pads
New brake fluid
New thermostat and seal
New anti-freeze
New N/S/R ABS ring
New front ball joints
New front track rod ends
New ARB bushes
New breather pipe
New front bumper (genuine Renault at a cost of over £1000, I hit a badger)
Front end respray (bumper, both wings and bonnet)
New battery
Air-con regas
Tracking
Geometry setup

Basically the car had a complete check-over and anything that needed replacing at the time/in the near future was replaced.

Other details include:

4 Michelin Supersport tyres (4-5mm tread left)
Quicksilver OMG Supersport Exhaust (original exhaust would be included)
Pipercross enclosed induction kit
Phase 2 rear spoiler
Phase 2 boot lid
Phase 2 rear lights
Clear side repeaters
New steering wheel (genuine Renault, invoice present)
3 spare wheels (2 rear and 1 front, tyres have minimal tread)

Obviously there are small signs of wear such as a fading gear knob, a couple of stone-chips and a mark or two on the driver’s sill. The wheels in all honesty would benefit from a refurb/respray as they're slightly pitted on the inside of the spokes. The seats are in fantastic condition due to having seat covers protecting them. It's never been tracked and has been used as a second/weekend car by myself. This car really is 'good to go' for a few years now.

It has quite high mileage for a V6 which I imagine would bring down the value of it although it appears it has had the main jobs done recently.

Do you have any pictures?

Im on the look out for a V6, though ideally a mk2 model.

If I find a ph1 at a decent price I would consider it.

mileage wouldnt put me off!

Phase ones are hard to price at the moment. I think somewhere between 10-12k.

It wouldnt put me off either, however it isnt a sub 40k V6 so that would have to be reflected in the price.

9k.
Poss scrape 9500

Remove all the extras & sell seperate, you will get £300 on cliosport for that spoiler on its own-

Thanks for the facebook tag for Carmen mate :)

Seems like this one has had a good overhaul, so mechanically should be top notch, and as long as any rust on the underside has been taken care of, it should fetch a top price.

Mileage should really not be an issue here.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Its funny how the values have shot up on these of the past 2 years....

I guess if members on here stick together and agree not to sell there cars less than top money prices will stay up. Its kind of the house on a street problem. If one seller advertises and sell way below value then there is an expectancy for all to do the same.

In all fairness I am looking at the moment for a Vee... ideally a phase 2 but would look at a well maintained phase 1. There is a car for sale and has been for around 7 / 8 months now through a dealer for £13,495 with just shy of 50k on the clock. Looks good and nice history with the added bonus of KW's etc..... But its just not selling.

What would a high mileage ph1 or 2 , say 60k but good condition go for? Or to put it another way what is a "you got a cracking price there buddy" value?
