What size tyres do turbines have?

What size tyres do turbines have? I might be buying a set with 3 new tyres on, want to price up a new tyre before i buy them, anyone know wot size tyre i'd need?

Thanks

I run 195/45/15 on mine which is handy if your going to lower your RT alot, prevents the rears from rubbing (usually)

was thinking of lowing it either 35 or 55mm. the tyres that the turbines i might be getting will have the 185/55/15's on. How low should i go with these do u reckon?

will be fine -35 (should be ok -55 as the rt is higher than the valver)

i actullay got 195/45/15 front and 205/45/15 back on my turbines.. works just fine,, however the rear wheels are a little oversize.. won't change until i burn them or something

I had to down from 55 to 45 when mine was lowered -55 on the back due to it rubbing out. Still couldnt take passengers either

i think mine is standard and i can take 1 passengar.. 2 and i have to drive really easy..

I am just thinking of the adjustment to the speedo needed if running a different overall diameter with slicker tyres...is tehre much difference between say 55 and 50?

as in 195/50 and 185/55?

If it is there is a fraction of an inch. Does fuck all to your speedo.

Biggest modifying myth ever that is.

My physics isn't great, only having a c or something in gcse many years ago, however, I think if we fitted a 30" wheel to a clio and it said 30mph on the speedo, it would be travelling a lot faster than a car with a standard setup. Would that be right?

no, slower due to rolling radius.

but in real terms the highest you could realy go would be 17/18's on low profile tyres which will make a difference but not in the same way people make out.

Plus if you are spending that sort of money just get a GPS speedo, job done. :D
