Thought i'd start a thread where members can let each other know what they have done to their retro Renault on a daily basis.

Doesn't matter how big or small it is so please share... :) Pic's are welcome.

I'll start

My 19 cabby has been sat on the drive all day looking sorry for itself in the rain and not moved :( Took my 18's down to the paint shop and finished rubbing the last one down, they are getting painted in Ford moondust silver tomorrow.

My car been at the painters for 4 days now ? But just invested in some mint condition window seals "wel a pay to mora " but should be hear for car being done . That's if for to day . Tomora is a new day lol

i've driven mine 26.4 miles at 60mph up the M3 and then back again 10 hours later, same as usual

Tow the 19 from my garage to a friends unit :) to start work on it, rang reno to get price on mould, an man lets say i need a euro bail out to pay for them lol,

Drove the 3 door to work and back as usual, the cabby is still in the carport waiting for me to finnish clearing out the garage to start work on it, hopefully this weekend, Yay hay.

I took the cabby to the paintshop today, trial fitted the wing and made some modifications to it. The brand new wing I bought was actually for a 3 door hatch not a cabby so the bottom bit had to be chopped and shaped to fit. The the top of the boot lid and rear humps were buffed up to see how it would look and they've come up not to bad. Wheels have been primed so i'll help rub them down tomorrow ready for the top coat.

Quite a slow day but it's getting there (y)

A few pic's of the progress

Red hatch took the oil bottle out of it for the bike.

Blue chamade looked at it all sad on its axle stand

White chamade looked at the blue chamades head sitting in the back of it

Safrane went out to the shop in it admiring its full tank of fuel

stripping and cleaning a few bits, fitting my suspension back on, tweaking the cams, next week having a good tart up and some V-POWER lol

Been down to the paint shop this morning and rubbed down my wheels again for the second time. One more coat of primer to go then the top coat of silver will be on, the wing is also in primer. Back in Monday after work for the rest to be done.

Taking ages...

Started old blue up again yesterday. First time in month or so. Let her get to temp and that's all she gets. I fitted the door lock clip I made at work so now it don't fall out when you shut the door!
Sourced some parts needed for the mot ( all brand new!) Still need to find a friendly (aka cheap) welder though.

Sent while I should be working using tapatalk 2.

I am on my second page on the "to do" list, one of my biggest jobs will be to remove the dashboard and rip out all the air conditioning and instal an original heater system, Phew. Bloody Singaporians didn't instal heater or blower, just a A/C unit with blower up under the dash. May have to look for a body shell being wrecked, just to get the parts I need. this is def a project happening here guys.
