Hi All,
I'm battling an ongoing issue with Airbag + SERV light on the dash. I've let it stay for the last few months, but now keen to get the car re-MOT'd and back on the road.
I've plugged the car into both a SNAP-ON VERUS diagnostics, and Renault CAN Clip.
There's a whole bunch of errors appearing on various circuits (driver side airbag circuit 1, and 2...passenger side circuit 2, driver seat position sensor etc etc).
There's also a CODE 1 - Internal ECU error.
However, I've been told by a Renault Master Tech not to write off the ECU on the basis of that code, and that it could be wiring related.
In both Snap On and Clip...I'm getting readings of 7.9 Ohm on all the connected lanes, only unused lanes (e.g. rear side airbags) are showing 0.0 Ohm.
Seems really odd, 7.9 Ohm is above the allowed threshold, hence all the faults.
It's also add that they all read 7.9 Ohms, I'd expect differences based on wiring length runs etc.
Any thoughts?
