WATER UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT ANY IDEAS?????

Hi all I was parked up in the vee today when I reached under the seat to get something when I found it was all wet under there

I think the bad driving conditions on sunday has aloud rain water to seep through some where ANY IDEAS WHERE it might have come from, i did drive through some very deep puddles on the way back from goodwood,and I dont just mean its damp its soaking

Thanks chap its like a small pond under there if i lift the carpets am gonna spend much of the weekend looking for the problem

I have finaly got it dry there now ,just lifted the carpet pulled out the sound deadening and hung it in the airing cupboard ,I just hope it was a one off freak event
