Is the Motec much different/better?

The motec is the daddy - pm me for a contact who may be able to help.

It's the wiring and setting up that costs - the ecu's just the start!

Rare second hand as they don't break and are so versatile

IMO: Best dealer/installer/best price for Motec is from Steve Hurst at GWR Motorsport.
I cannot begin to tell you how I wish I had gone to him for mine.
I used another dealer who ripped me off and supplied an engine loom that was total crap.

The Omex = Tesco savers brand, does the job and is cheap
The Motec = Fortman & Mason, simply the best

Hey thanks guys but I already new that Motec was the best, thanks to 'Fred' for the offer but i,ll stick with the 'Motec' as me little VSixer deserves nothing but the best & MikeT all I can say to you is 'Dam@!*) if yer Know what i mean

motec, tell me more about this, what increases will i see and stuff

Motec M800 is just the ecu. Very expensive and not necessary unless you have a shed load of modifications that you're looking to get the best from. otherwise on a standard car a remap of the existing ecu will provide as much for a tenth of the price.
