It's mine now - just noticed the post - apparently originals were stolen [smilie=icon_eek.gif] so these are carbon replacements - i have new member post up asking for any ideas on original replacements - bearing in mind ive just bought it and taxed it and insured it so IM SKINT [smilie=icon_cry.gif]

Shouldnt get too wound up about them Craig. The ph2 pods are just a very slightly different shape.Take your time to find a pair of ph2 pods at the right price, and you can still get some monies back in your pocket by selling the CF ones on if you wish. :approve:

Pretty sure Bic at Streamline Carbon does ph2 items albeit carbon and not plastic. A better alternative to paying reno's stupid prices for a product that is half the quality.

The website says 'coming soon' for Ph2 and has done for several years.

The reproduction side pods shown on recent rebuilds have been 'close enough'.

Obviously the grills are daft money.

Probably worth a regular phone call to Renault as these will be sold off cheap at some point.

Thanks for that I will have to wait a while but i will probably just get in contact with Scott at SGM at some point as i said before he was ok with them and i haven't really noticed the difference apart from colour ? I presume after what has been said that the 'grill' bits aren't original either [smilie=icon_cry.gif] Oh poo !! I am slightly - no - over slightly disappointed now [smilie=icon_cry.gif] Ok guys - i do have a very good example so that cheers me up BUT I WILL get it sorted if humanly possible.

They need some work but are a good fit.
2 pods + painting + new plastic grills costs the same like one oem pod from renault without paint and without plastic grills.

Yours is a nice example & I'm sure we all have bits we'd like to change/improve, I know I have.

I honestly had not noticed - I was told they were stolen and he did his best at the time - Scott was not to concerned about it - but - lol - I blame James for resurrecting the old thread ! Lol lol lol lol !! I appriciate your comment but I'm really strange bloke - once I'm fixed on it it won't go away !! Lol !! James I just love your knowledge on here - lol !! I'm now paranoid !! Lol !
