Driving back this afternoon from sillsden after visiting relatives cruising down the ai9 north in the outside lane spotted a Toyota estate waiting to do a u turn on the slip road .remarked to Amanda hope he doesn't pull out in front of us guess what .not only did he pull out but stopped fully in the outside lane .an audi was level with me on the inside no where to go except the slip road he pulled out of .i was facing the traffic south bound he decided to reverse back to his starting point then managed to get out while I'm stuck waiting to get out .finally a break in traffic and foot hard down got away ,didn't catch him up shame really I would have reported him there's to many d..k heads on the road be careful out there.

Close shave there Graham. Glad to hear that there was no incident as a result of the Toyota driver's stupidity.

Such drivers should never be allowed to take the wheel........

Close call mate I have had 1 in the vee with a transit when going round a corner on a country lane and the f***ker was about a meter over my side I just swerved out of his way just in time would of been a right off :(

Yes we were lucky .owned this car for 7 years and really enjoyed it .will come off the road end of September and get some long overdue tlc front bumper painted including bonnet .will give me a chance to put my classic minis on the road I've owned one of them for 32 years .also my smart roadster will give me a bit of fun while it's off the road well it is mid engined lads and 55 mpg just hope I don't meet that Toyota again [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

A bet a bit of brown nearly came out then! Glad to hear you missed disaster.

The A19 is a really dangerous road. Last time I went along there was cycling time trials along it. Sheer madness! I saw two near misses that would of ended in death.
