There were some Alonso signed cars given as way as part of a competition back in his Renault days. However, not clear whether this one of them!? Hardly a major boost in value tho'! They were just Illiads that he'd scrawled on in a couple of places!

I'm fairly sure the car they gave away wasn't actually the one Alonso drove, especially since I assume that'd have been a LHD and I'm certain the prize was a UK car. Hence it really was no more than a Illiad Vee with some Alonso autographs with marker pen. I can't remember who ran the competition ... something in evo, somewhere else? Google isn't helping much!

could be wrong but if my memory serves me right renault gave a illiad away think it might have had a special plaque think it was at goodwood alonso took the guy up the hill in it and was a bit of a presentation on the stand
