V6 fans in cooling ducts

Anyone know how fans work in cooling ducts, mine have never cut in during the 3 years I have had car.

Switched mine to manual.

mine never worked since i had the car. Looked in to it any couldnt find anythin wrong. Changed the sensor for it and still didnt work. Rigged mine up manually too. Switch, fuse and some wiring, pish of piss. :winky:

got mine to come on by travelling very fast to catch euro tunnel train driving straight into the carridge, got out and as we began to get very warm on came the fans first time and only time but no longer a virgin

where in the engine bay is the sensor ? is it the one behind the jack on back of engine bay ?

I too had thgis problem but shorting out the cut in on the back of the engine bay has no effect......

Had the sensor on mine changed. Fans worked perfectly until the engine was removed and refitted.

I have 2 sensors on my invoice, and 2 relays also. I'm guessing the first replacement sensor and relay failed to work.
