Suppose I best get a thread up on here, before Andy shouts at me.
Had this nearly a year now, love the thing. Spent enough on servicing and tyres etc, then springs and spacers, so holding back a little before adding power. (even though Mr Bond keeps telling to do otherwise)

Mick at Diamond did my belts back in March, sorted 4 new tyres in April, then had oil and filter change in June. Mark Black kindly fitted my H&R springs back in May time and I added the spacers not long after. Also recently added an armrest, some HIDs and some R26.R fog blanks. Refitted my missing front badge too.

So here it is, as it stands, a few low res shots as I never seem to take decent ones of my own car.

Sitting down ?

225 --> r26 main differences.
5 PS ( about 3 bhp )
Eibach --> Eibach Pro springs
Different geo
Different shocks
Limited slip diff
Different seats
different alloys
different front bumper
different rear lights
badging changes

Thats all I can think of at the mo.

Not forgetting the difference in irritation levels from the owners if you mistake one model for the other..... :grin.gif:

Rolls Royce's don't suddenly forget their card keys and stay immobilised until you spend £3k with the dealer.

I'd love one but this era wasn't Renaults finest post warranty hour.

Lovely car @Feirny

The alloys, front bumper, and rear lights were changed on all 225's in 2006. Mine has the same as the R26. I'm sure the tyres were all 235 width as well, apart from the R26R, which used 225's?

Basically, an R26 is twice the price of a 225, for a dif', some seats that your arse slides out of, and some fancy paint options :p
