just when I thought there were no V6's within 50 miles of scunthorpe, a nice man walked into my work and asked if I owned the titanium ph2 vee, I got chatting and it turns out he has a very early ph 1 with 31000 miles stood in his back yard for 4 years, 1 MILE FROM MY HOUSE !!!,
The car reg is Y82 OGY and is known to the forum,
I've been round for a look and its in great condition , still started now and again but never moved for 4 years,
he also has a mint renault GT Turbo that he showed me round ,all rebuilt by himself that will interest Matt and Mossy and many others on the forum,
I convinced him to join the forum to gain loads of info.

Unreal! You just never know what's on your doorstep sometimes!

I still pass the one in Gretna every day, it's literally turning into more of a worthless shed every single week, hasn't moved for about 5 years now

completely above my head, but he was fitting a perculater fan on his GT turbo (a heat sensor switch above the turbo that blows cold air around the carbs) as they are poor starters when hot ,and this stops the fuel evaporating,
well it impressed me anyway !!

Nice pair Mick :) Liking the GT!

Tell him to remember to fit the fuse on the Perc fan (It was an aftermarket job by Renault).... Otherwise it'll catch fire!
