Time for some new boots on the front... was looking at Falken's

Just wanted to know is anyone fitting other sizes than 205/40/18 at the front?

I fitted 215 40 18 Falken 452s just yesterday. Choice is whether you take a small bump up in diameter by sticking with the 40 profile but going to 215, or take a risk on the the extra 20mm width and any fouling and get the lower profile 225s.

Are you running standard suspension? what size spacers do you have on? thanks

standard suspension and i think 15mm spacer on the rear.simon

Chassis 001 has 255/40/18 Rear 215/35/18 Front. Michelin Pilot Sport

So would assume those sizes are fine also.

I've got slight rubbing issues on my fronts but just before reaching full lock. I currently have 225/40/18s. Reading through this thread (bump) and others, it seems 225/35/18 will work as will 215/40/18. I'm not entirely sure what I should opt for? Even though the second option is the same overall diameter as my currents, I guess it is the width that is causing the rubbing at that particular aspect (40)?

I have Falkens 225-40-18 on front 255-40-18 on rear With no proplems, Will go to 265-35.18 on rear next time though !!
