Hi All,
In this thread i will be posting about my journey to build a fast and fun trackday twingo.
I've bought a RS133 to start this al, my main focus is to upgrade the suspension and brakes.
I won't go crazy on weight saving, i really like clubsport interiors so 2 bucket seats with 4/6points harnesses and a radiodelete will be as far that i will go.
With the power it will have in the end, it won't matter how much it weigths.
At a later stage i want to swap it to megane 225 engine, Adey inspired me big time to do this project.
I have been collecting parts the last weeks, soon it will be time to start building.
I've had loads of other RS models through the years, Clio 16valver, williams, Clio 2 RS, Clio 2 RS Cup racer, sevaral megane 2 RS: 225 ph1 black gold, R25, R26, Clio 3 RS 197.
Current cars are the RS133 and my megane 2 grandtour RS with megane 265 engine and Hybrid 20t turbo.
In this first post i will keep a list of all the parts i've used:
Engine:
- Powerflex engine mount buches
Gearbox:
- Stock
Suspension:
- Gaz gold coilovers
- PMS solid topmounts + strutbrace
- Powerflex : rearaxle, wishbones, rear dampers topmounts.
- R2 rally tarmac front ARB 22mm
- PMS rear ARB kit
- PMS Rear axle stiffening profile kit
- PMS camber/toe shims rear axle
- PMS Stud kit
- Camberbolts front
Wheels & Tyres:
- Team dynamics 1.2 16x7 ET 40 antrecite
- Yokohama advan AD52 195-45-16
Brakes:
- Megane 3 RS brembo calipers
- 300x24 discs
- EBC RPX pads
- Steelflex brake lines
- New rear discs and calipers
- DS2500 pads
- Motul RBF660
Interior:
- R2 Rally seatmounts
- Megane R26R carbon bucket seats
- Megane R26R sabelt 6point harness
- Radio delete
- 1 Din gauge holder: oil temp, oil pressure, eventually turbo pressure.
