turbo engine

Hi guys,
Have some technical questions need your support that I want to put a turbo on my vee , and would like to know what would be the miximum output that the original engine could substain (without changing crank , pistons, rods etc)? I think could be up to 350hp or less 400hp? any ideas? Thanks.

The crank could probably take it but the compression ratio of the pistons is too high for a turbo and the rods need to be stronger plus too much power from a turbo set up can flex the cylinder block. Turbo installations always need work doing on every part of the engine.......Superchargers on the other hand do not need as much modification. HKS in Japan used to do a supercharger kit for the MX5 which I have seen fitted to a Peugeot 406 3 ltr V6 coupe which was very effective it added about 100 bhp but wrecked the gearbox after about 4000 miles.
