TT

Not heard of anything off the shelf. I would imagine its quite a task and may involve most of the engine to be strengthened if it is going to last more than 5 minutes.

James if you are seriously interested I know someone who has done a twin turbo conversion on the Mk1 type engine.

It was done as part of a build for mid engined project so the charge cooling, exhaust routing etc has been designed to take account of the vagaries of mid-mounting.

Conversion is based around T28s, some uprated internals are required and the build I've seen includes an enlarged sump.

Electronics are handled by a Kronos Racing ECU and this would help reduce any overall cost since the ECU is cheaper than the MOTEC/Pectel alternatives and base line data will be availabled from the dyno based mapping that's already taken place.

Sorry James, this has reminded me to do your photoshop engine cover thing....will get a look at it later on hopefully.

All noted. Thank you :)
