Trophy Wheels........

Hello,

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm sure I've read conflicting answers !?!

Do V6 Clio Trophy Cromodora wheels (9" & 8" I think they are) fit straight onto a standard V6 Clio ?

Or do you have to make modifications to the bodywork, use spacers etc etc.

If so what's required ????

Many thanks in advance........... :salut:

Yes, the do fit without any body modifications but 15mm spacers required up front :approve:
Some info here on page 3 LINK

Thanks Russo...........that's some info just there.

Would anyone know where is the best place to buy the 15mm spacers ?

Again, I've seem something somewhere that says a Company sells them anodised ?

Lucky you :salut: Took me best part of 2 years to find a set!!!!
Think they are all second hand these days only place I've seen selling them new is Migny Courses and I think they only had a few fronts ;)
Tell us more about your Croms and where you found a set.
Don't forget you'll need some longer bolts as well :approve:

Don't want to say too much until they "physically" turn up............you know how these things can go pear-shaped !?!
As soon as they land I'll spill the beans.

Should have waited until I actually had a a V6 Clio really :s

Yes, I know............If there's a way to do things, this isn't it !

Should get the money back on the wheels unless it's silly money so not a problem ,unless it leaves you a little short for the car you want. I will buy them in that case tho, cheap. ;) :race:

Good lad, like your style
Get the good wheels before the car :-)
If / when you get them and they need a referb just be aware that the magnesium needs some special TLC, don't just go and get them powder coated ;)

Already have a "refundable" deposit on a Phase II..........picking it up on Tuesday afternoon - as long as it's not a "Piece of S**T".

So I'm not as "bonkers" as I sound :s

Paid a real good price for the wheels..........so a win, win really...........I think right place at the right time, which makes a change for me.

Got me now!!!!!!
Must be someone you know because I haven't seen any for sale in the UK since James sold his!!!
Hope it works out pal :approve:

Guessing this has already been talked about,..........but.

Just wondering what size tyres fit the Cromodora Trophy Wheel without rubbing ?

225/35 18 on the 8's and 255/35/18 on the 9's seem to fit the bill - but to be fair I haven't a clue.

Anybody.........!?!
