Shouldn't be too hard to fit. 8mm bolt holding them in I think them they just pull off. possibly a WIKI about it?

I would like to know more about Trophy coils to update the Wiki/knowledge base but from what I can determine, the kit SG do includes some wiring extensions which don't need soldering. Not sure if any tapping work is required either ...

Cany anyone with Trophy coils i.e. Ray, Tims, Mike ... confirm what you need to do to fit Trophy coils and what the kit comprises of ?

Trophy coils have different connectors, you need either a conversion or connector replacement.

I saw the trophy coils and I can see there is quite a bit of work involved in swapping. Fiddly and time consuming most of it. My guess is quite a few hours labour involved.

The actual coils are very meaty and deeply filled with proctective gel. ( my not so technical speak ) They weigh a lot more than the OE coils too.

Overall I got the impression that these would stand up to much higher temperatures, and give much more peace of mind.

Trophies have two bolts, one each at opposite corners whereas standard ones have only one. The block is not tapped for the second bolt but I ran mine for a year with only one bolt and no issues before getting it tapped........
As harry says, different connectors but worthwhile getting the job done for peace of mind.
MikeT saw these bench tested as well and they produce a much more potent spark as well as being 100% reliable ..(to date, which is over 100 000 combined miles that I know of)
