Top Mounts Sitting Proud ?

Hello.........

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, and I sort of ran out of time before I headed back to work for a few weeks, but.

I installed the front KW Coilovers last week and all seemed to go very smoothly.

However, when I dropped the car down off the axle-stands the Top Mounts now sit proud (about 5-7mm) ?

I've obviously made a mistake but didn't have time investigate...............

Any "Smarty Pants" out there willing to stick their neck out, throw me some abuse and tell me what an idiot I've been

Any help would be very much appreciated,

That's normal with those top mounts in the Clio B. Maybe you noticed the amount of movement this construction allows, especially when off the wheels -> this is why some use solid top mounts.

Thanks for the reply............to be honest I hadn't noticed before.

Doesn't look very good that's for sure but reluctant to go for the Solid Mounts until I've driven the thing :s
