for those of you interested in the renault 21turbo ice racer,, heres another of its companions.(who said the 21t didnt have motorsport history lol :shock: )



In march 95, Gildo Pallanca-Pastor, 28 old, drove a EB110 SuperSport on the frozen sea in Oulu in Finland. He reached the speed of 296.34 km/h, average speed on 1 km launched. He was using Michelin regular tyres with no spikes. The car was heavier than a normal one to get more motricity. The track was on the frozen sea, 7 km long but not straight because it was not cold enough and there were holes.

its a small small world dave,,, bought a poster on ebay, when i sent payment to the guy in france i asked if he had anything else 21t related,, he replied saying he had the original europa cup registration document, and added that he used to work with none other than Phillipe Bugalski, so very cheekily i replied and asked him if it was at all possible for him to contact him with a request , then send it to him to get it autographed, as it had his car on the cover, the the very very nice Mr Bugalski said yes and additionaly sent 2 pics of him racing the 21T, to get copied. i probably could ave bought another 21T,but hey ive only ever seen 2 other documents like this,,so just had to have it... :lol:
