Titanium Silver Clio V6 Phase 2 For Sale

Not sure what the cost of living is like in Australia at the moment (it was pretty.high when we visited in 2016) but based on the current exchange rate that would cost you c 72k in British pounds

There is another V6 Clio for sale in Australia which makes mine look like an absolute bargain

https://classicthrottleshop.com/2003-re ... liad-blue/

It's car number 040

It is (was) indeed my car, number 040. I sold it a few weeks ago to a dealer/wholesaler in Melbourne, for significantly less than that outrageous asking price. I didn't expect it to end up at Classic Throttle, especially THAT quickly.

If anybody wants to know more about the car, just ask.

As it turns out mine is still for sale

It seems a little unusual that a Phase 2 with 50000 more kilometres than mine and a higher asking price sold so quickly without the buyer showing any interest in my TS Phase 2

There is definitely lots of people watching and interested in the V6 but this is going to be a slow burn. Hopefully it will go to a good home soon

Good news. My wonderful Titanium Silver Phase Two has been sold and is on its way to Queensland

By all accounts the new owner is a serious car enthusiast so I am sure he will appreciate how great these cars are

I've been lucky enough to own two Phase 2 Clio V6's and they have both been a joy. The ownership experience has been completely enhanced by this club which is, without doubt, the best car club I've been involved with

Thanks everyone

Regards

Jon

Hi all, yes I have joined the Forum and the car [v6plaque]233[/v6plaque] has gone to a good home in Queensland. It joins a few other classics I have; a BMW M3 CSL I purchased new in 2003, A Ferrari Modena 360, A 1967 Prince Skyline (which you are probably unaware of as they were only sold in NZ and Australia outside of Japan) a 1967 Alfa 105 stepnose coupe and a 1967 triumph TR5. Given my desire for hot hatches, I also have a Yaris GR.

Given the rarity of the Clio V6 in Oz, it will be great to have contacts that may be able to assist if needed.

Cheers
Baz

Hello Baz and welcome to the club. :salut:

That’s quite an eclectic collection of cars you have assembled. It would be rude not to post up some pictures…
;)

Welcome Baz!

Good to hear [v6plaque]233[/v6plaque] has a good home. And what a collection of cars you have there!

I suggest you contact Fred Hopkins at Superior Automotive in Albion (off Breakie Creek Hotel I believe) if you need support maintaining the V6. Fred had worked on a number of these cars in the UK before he moved to Brisbane and owns one himself (his car is still in the UK though).
