Thinking of selling.

Only had my vee for a few months and already thinking of selling! [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

I do love it but I got it because I couldn't find a clean Williams but am thinking of starting the search again (best car I have owned inc evo, v6 ect), the drive is such a giggly and if it goes wrong it won't be written off so easy.

I find myself nursing the vee for lack of a better word.

I have no idea what to put it up for sale for tho, am hoping Ali or Banjo (James) will give some input as they have seen the car.

There is photos in "Aberdeen harbour pics".

It has receipts for new clutch, timing-belt water pump ect and also has a new set of wheels from the group buy. The brakes have also been done inc the calipers.

The guy I got it from was a Renault enthusiast!

Some basic info on the car,

39,000m,
Mars red,
standard except induction and a new spikes exhaust,
New wheels with Falken 452's,
No rips, tares or marks,
Full service history and as said all belts done ect.

Any input welcome guys.

Cheers,
Steve.

i kno what you mean, comparing the vee to williams, the vee feels fragile, here was my williams 3, till someone hit me from behind and wrote it off, it took me months to find the A1 fully restored williams.

I still love the persona of the Williams, but hated the ownership experience. I'd have another tomorrow, just to admire it; but that's where the interest stops.

The Vee is 10x the car the Williams is imo.

Yours is without question one of the best examples and i'd be looking to sell for more than you bought it for. I'm not in a place to put a price on someone elses car, but i'd gladly give a future buyer a positive reference on the car.

Sad to hear your thinking of selling already mate! I kind of know what you mean about the Vee feeling "fragile"

Mine has never put a foot wrong and yet it's always in my head that something will break each time I drive it

I'd say you want to be selling for £16k minimum as mars is a rare colour and it has good history and a few nice goodies

Objectively the Vees are in a different league to Williams...
I initially baulked and then began FLMAO when I read your comments...

...but in reality, you could've been pining for an Austin Allegro.

Pining
Verb: 1. Suffering a mental and physical decline, esp. because of a broken heart
2. Miss and long for the return of

Get yourself a Williams buddy! :approve:

Worth 20k...Get the value up ya homo's!!

Dreamer haha!

16K is strong money considering the steal I got it for but on the other hand it my be the start of another thread "Williams for sale because I miss my Vee".

I was thinking of selling it and the supermoto getting a clean williams and putting the rest in a savings bond, although now it kinda looks like the vee is a bit of an investment.

Anyway I think the bike is going tomorrow so have cash for a williams or is it time to mod the vee to my likening?

To many choices!!!

Hard to find a solid one that the issue, have tried a few times in the last year.

Might end up looking for a solid shell project type soon.
