thinking of parting company

I've owned my v6 for 16 months now and its been one heck of an experience. I always had one on my short list and can honestly say its been one of the most pleasurable motors I've had not only in terms of looks, sound, performance and rarity but its reliability. Not a things gone wrong apart from a washer motor £9. This year I think the car has only been out a handful of times and 2 of those occasions were for a valet and mot. I hate walking past the garage knowing that it is wasted just sitting there collecting dust, battery running low, tyres perishing so im seriously contemplating selling up to give someone the opportunity and pleasure of owning such a great car. I have 2 full time jobs and just can't find the time to fully appreciate the car. A little bit about it.
2004 illiad,
10 months mot with no advisories. Barely done 50 mile since mot'd,
6 months tax,
Full service history,
Cambelt etc done within last 10k,
All alloys getting fully refurbed so will be as new,
Fully valeted,
Gonna get chips etc sprayed,
Just turned 50k was on 48500 when I bought it 16 month ago,
Stunning motor a couple of vee owners in the area have seen it about, just testing the water to see what sort of interest it will get and price suggestions. Id love it to go to another club member or recently joined member looking for their first vee. It originally came from a former club member so its history can be traced back. I'm In no rush to sell so won't be putting it on eBay etc. Cheers guys and gals

I had a wobble after a similar period and thought about selling. 4 years on and the joys of ownership still haven't diminished...

When was cambelt done? i.e. time not mileage. Also, any modifications? No. of owners? Service history by Renault? doesn't mean much to us but to the uninformed it's a good selling point.

Regarding price. A club car could get a small premium if selling to someone on the forum looking. I'd say owing to the 50k mileage between 12k and 13k would be a good place to start. Sure other will say too high/too low!!

If you decide to sell; good luck. Sure someone will come out of the woodwork and grab themselves a good'un :)

Full history half of them Renault dealer, cambelt changed at 39k in November 2009, 3 former keepers, totally standard, need to book in for wheel refurb and stone chip touch ups. Will keep an eye on some new members searching for their first vee

I would say if you want to sell it this year £11,000 would be the only way forward. I recently sold my Illiad with 25K miles and it was in apsolutely mint condition with full renault service etc, i got £12,500 for it, there are 2 available with only 16K Miles on currently going for £14K and i have heard that they are both open to offers 13K would probably buy them. If you put it up at 13K it just won't sell, there just aren't the buyers out there they will just play your mileage and price off against the others currently available.
