As some of you may know, my car was in at Scotts for its 5 year service last week. Fantastic job and service once again from Scott.. cheers fella! (Thanks for going out of your way to look after the car and keep bird poo off it too!) [smilie=boohoo.gif] [smilie=thanks.gif]

Well whilst it was in there I had a full Janspeed system fitted, while the engine was out, that I had previously bought from Patchall. Thanks again Si :approve:
Now, Simon had had some bespoke tail pipes fitted to the box, very nice, but not to my taste and not in keeping with the theme of my car. So I gave Janspeed a call to see if they were able to change the bespoke tail pipes to some new, still bespoke, but OEM looking ones like their own 'slash cut' ones. (Thanks Deano and Si for the number)
It was all a bit last minute for me, 'no surprise there for me', but managed to get the back box stored at Scotts, to Janspeed at Salisbury.. job done, collected from John at Janspeeds house in The New Forest one eve, and back to Scotts the same eve, ready for me to collect the car on Saturday.. lol
All seemed great until I saw the back box fitted on the car Saturday morning. A break down in comunication somewhere had meant that the new tail pipes where pretty much flush with the face of the bumper! Hmmm.. didnt look 'too' bad, but i was more concerned that the paint work might become dis-coloured or worse, scorched in time with the heat.
I took the car away, delighted with the work that Scott had done, but a little disappointed the exhaust didnt look how i'd planned to to look.

The following day was our Southern meet, and all was fine with the paint work thankfully! :approve:

I still wasnt totally happy, so gave John at Janspeed a call, to explain my concerns. Well, I really didnt have to say much at all, he said bring it in and we'll sort it out for you! So thats where I've been this morning. The time and effort these guys put in to making sure it was just right and to my satisfaction was truely commendable! From the care taken to put the car on the ramps... wrap rags around the tail pipes to protect the paint work.. aligning the tail pipes just about perfectly (hey, its a moving part though fixed hole! ;)) cups of tea, and working through lunch to get it done! What a service!!

So, a massive thanks to everyone over at Janspeed in Salisbury, for all your hard work getting it all to look right. :approve: :approve: [smilie=thanks.gif]

The finished item.

Glad you got it sorted Shaun, the OEM looks is very subtle :approve:

Sports cats Mossy, apparently. I couldn't tell myself. LOL

Its a bit of a Jeckle and Hyde type of system. Its very subtle just pootling about, and in the cabin its not at all 'boomy' like the QS was on the other car. However... put ya foot down and all hell seems to break loose! :) :race:

I'm very pleased with it m8. 8)

Any way.... back on topic! :)

Thanks for all the thumbs up. I'm very happy with the exhaust, not everyones cup of tea I don't doubt, but it not everyones car.. its mine. I felt i'd like to show my appreciation to all those that worked on it and contributed to getting it done.

Very nice mate. Bet it sounds immense!

Looking forward to hearing it at fcs. Tail pipes look very subtle too!
