Teary Drive!

Well folks, our Vee has found a new home!

After a lively blast to Cambridge yesterday, Darren (rssprint) is now the new custodian, and what a nice chap he is too. Undoubtedly a petrol head a heart; she will remain a great hands.

Like I said on Facebook yesterday; unless you pay in excess of £100,000, I'm 100% sure ill never drive such and amazing little car ever again. The V6Clio.net family is beyond doubt a credit to you all. There's no '2 sh*t' style aggression on here, which is really refreshing compared to other forums on the net. We've met some lovely, genuine lads and lasses during our ownership and made truly welcome at all times.

If money and space dictates in the future, we'd love to return to ownership in the future.

I plan to hang around guys as after all I do have petrol in my blood and my Volvo 850R still has room to grow ;)

All the very best guys & gals and remember, if anyone ever needs accommodation in Melton for any reason, whether it be a club event or just a social, please give us a knock :approve:

Thanks again, Woody, Jackie & Ethan. :)

A sad a day indeed to see you leave the fold. Hope to see you back sometime in the future. The new owner has got a cracker especially with the ph2 gear box. Best wishes to you and the family!

I'm sure the family and volvo will keep you occupied for a while Dave :approve:
Think you'll ever buy another vee? Seen some of the posts on FB and you sure got the vee bug
Please keep showing your face around these parts ;)

Thanks Jackie/Woody,

I loved every minute of the drive home.

It really is a cracking little car and it shows that it has been looked after, apart form the couple of small paintwork issues that you sent me pics of prior to meeting i can't fault it and they will be sorted within a month or 2.

I've just paid my membership so i will have a good look through the forum as i got a pretty bad petrol smell by the time i got home, it could be normal but it made my eyes water in the end lol.

Don't worry i'll look after her.

Cracking, knew you would be pleased!

Petrol smell is an easy one which I forgot to mention. Scott at SG Motorsport noticed it and recommended changing the filler cap 'O' ring/s; I never got round to it.

Happy motoring Darren!

Good to hear of a transaction where both parties are happy, and that the Vee has gone to a good home.........well done. :approve:
