Hi,

I know there are the settings and things shown on the wiki but does anyone have any experiance as to what tracking settings work best on the front and rear of a ph1 V6?

I've got the supertracker man coming in to do my car soon and want to make sure I get the best set up.

Cheers

Matt

Stick to the book figures, anything else can make the car very difficult!!
Particularly with the Mk1.

What have I said for many moons.

Then go out on the track and adjust LITTLE by LITTLE tom suit your driving style

Not sure about the mk1's, but the std setup for the mk2 is not all that great, mine is a fair bit off std with modified std dampers. The guys at IF motorsport are lookin into getting different springs from eibac too.

Cool,

cheers for the advice, I'll let you know how I get on with the super tracker man...if he's any good I'll put his contact details on here for anyone that needs someone...I think he may be good as one of his last projects was a certain stobart mk2 escort for Colin McRae before he passed away.

Matt

People feel free to post your setting sheets for Mk1's and 2's along with any good/bad comments about the resulting handling and I will add to the Wiki unless you want to do it ;-)
