steering wheels

i have the chance of a clio 182 steering wheel, will it fit? want to get mine retrimmed but dont want to be stuck without using my car?

If you're driving a 255, as far as i'm aware its a straight swap!

no its a phase one, 52 reg, i'm not bothered about airbag etc for a couple of weeks just want to be able to use it still whiule geeting other retrimmed

With a little bit of work it will fit - (have just done it)

If you turn it over, there a two splines / fins that you need to remove - very easy with an angle grinder (5 mins max) or you could just use a hack saw.

Then it will fit on no problems.

As for the air bag - it can be rewired (a little bit more fiddley) so that they are connected.
