Steering "clicking"

It's dry, and the vee's out..but

When turning lock to lock there's a plasticy clicking noise coming from inside the steering column as if something is catching.

Anyone ever had this and know the score?

it could be the self cancelling tab for the indicators inside the wheel, behind the airbag. Have you got the standard wheel or aftermarket? Ph1 or 2 vee?

It's like something catching. Seen your video - very similar. Did you get it fixed?

yeah, mine was doing it, but to be honest Ive not really noticed it recently (unless Ive just conditioned myself to cancel the noise out in my mind!) but stuff like that normally drives me round the bend. Its why I asked if yours is standard. Id just fitted a 197 wheel when mine started doing it, so I was asking for something to start making a noise!
