standard ph1 ride height

can anyone tell me the standard ride height for a ph1 please. i can't seem to see it in any of the technical data. Ideally measurements from the ground to the lip of the wheel arch, in the centre of the wheel

the manual shows a different method of measuring

Would be easier for a ph1 owner to measure there Standard car on level ground

Referring to the diagram on underbody height (Page 07-13) that James has kindly put the link up for, I have done some calculations on the heights for the value of H2 and H5 for the ph1 Vee.

Assuming standard front and rear tyres and rims for the ph1 i.e. F: 205/50R17 R: 235/45R17.

The height from ground level to the centre of the wheel at the front end, H1; and rear end, H4, can be approximated by:

Front, H1 = 0.5(17"x 25.4) + 205*0.5 = 318.4mm
Rear, H4 = 0.5(17"x 25.4) + 234*0.45 = 321.65mm

Therefore, the values for H2 (distance from ground to the bottom of the front subframe) and H5 (outer corner on the rear of the body) is:

Front, H2 = 318.4 - 173mm = 145.4mm
Rear, H5 = 321.65 - 158.3 = 163.35mm

Happy to be corrected if my approximation is wrong. I don't think one can get the exact values for H2 and H5 due the "ballooning" of the tyre side wall.

I did do a quick check of H5 by measuring my ph1 using just a simple tape measure and found to be around 160mm.

PS. Coincidentally I am also trying to set the ride height this week and that's why I gave so much thought to it
