Squeaky rear end over bumps 19 16v cab

Since lowering my car it has become quite squeaky on the rear, it didn't happen instantly must of been around 2 weeks later and over time it's become worse. I took the torsion bars back out and re greased them but the squeak is still there.

Could it be my rear dampers? Where about is the top of the damper located on a cabby? I can't seem to find it

Anyone had a similar problem?

Cheers

usually it is the dampers as its probably on the bumptsops.

Other causes may be a midget or dead prostitute trapped, an excited gerbil/parrot and so on.

Dampers on the cabby are inside the boot just like the rest, however its been a while so you may find they are accessed under the carpet where the roof stows away.

Its been ages and I could be mixing it up with any number of cabbys tbh.

no other models will fit as they went to the angled damper set up and thus have 2 eyelets.

The 2 bar ones will fit but they are not as stiff and some are a bit longer.

Cheers for that, still not even taken one of mine off yet, the weather is terrible here in the High peak, snow everywhere. Good job you gave the meet a miss.
