I read that Clio 182s have ABS sensors the speedo uses.

The speedo takes its signal from the nsf abs sensor, probably not the ring but the sensor itself, they get water in them and fail.V6 Ade":3otrc8nz said:

would be happy to scan the vehicle for you / anyone for £25 cash this would after a drive round the block give you an answer to the question of sensor or abs ring. as a guess i would go for sensor all day long.
i wonder if these cross reference with any other renault like the renault laguna, the hubs are the same as are the driveshaft stubs in the front (less the shafts of course) also the abs rings are the same, anyone know???
also as to price the citroen ones from the factors were £160 for a pair and this was less than half the dealer price so perhaps the renault price is about right, put two on an old bmw just before christmas these were £75 each and were bongo brand.
