Spark Plugs MK1

TOM 00001

New Member
Looking to put a new set of plugs in soon and noticed that Bosch FGR7 HQPE are listed as standard for the MK1 and Bosch FGR7 MQPE for the phase 2.
Whats the difference and can either be fitted to the MK1 ?
Anyone have a preference ? I.E. NGK etc
Looking for advice before i purchase.

Reading the Bosch catalog the HQ seems to be a Super plug and the MQ is a Super Plus plug (for motorsport) LINK

Search for "Denso Iridium" on the forum to read about the other favoured plugs Vee owners use.

Renault list the same plug part number for both models.
