Absolutely love this car, out of the 3 vees I've owned it's by far my favourite and my plan is never to sell it ever! [smilie=yay.gif]

Non standard parts so far are

BMC CDA filter..sounds good but I may swap this to PIPER X as I prefer the sound of the latter :race:

Spike janspeed exhaust

Recaro pole positions in custom trim and extra low mounts

197 steering wheel with mars red renaultsport insert


Plan is to fit KW's in the next year or so, then when it turns 10 years old next August, it's second Cambelt and probably put a clutch in at the same time..keep everything serviced to the book and lots more polishing :approve:

Always amazes me how many different tones are hidden in mars red, it literally looks a different colour most days it's out

Love it mate! Really like what you have done with the interior! I'm not a big fan of modifying vees but that is spot on!

Looks fantastic! the interior on mine is standard, but yours looks really good - like the small details like the painted red seat frames and the steering wheel insert!

Only beef i have with it and you can't see it, is the inner side mount that Alex had made...It doesn't match the outer...

Other than that it's a lovely example.

This Vee is one of the few which gets better and better, but not going too far hopefully.

The sidemounts are identical Ali it's the actual subframe that differs but as you say it's 100% out of sight and worth it for the low mounting position
