Do these cars have many problems?

I know it's best to keep a few spare coils packs in the car (so I read).

Engines?
Gearbox?
Brakes?
Suspension?
Electrics?

I have read they have a Laguna clutch, what is the best replacment for this when it's new clutch time?

Sorry for all the questions..

I guess being so few of the the Clio V6 there are easy to track down.

I tracked car would not worry me, but the history would need to 110%

????

Hey Dan,

Most of the information you crave is available on a "search". You might want to consider investing in the poultry amount need to join as a member in order to access the massive archives on here. It's a must for a prospective owner. :approve: -

I am reading (and seeing, hope the chap who broke down last night with the gearbox problem gets it sorted)

Gearbox problems?

Driven for 10,000 miles, no issues apart from my electric window motor failing and it occasionally trying to kill me.

It sounds a bit like you're trying to talk yourself out of buying one: mistake. Mine is the best squillion pounds I've ever spent. The only other car I really want is a PH2, they can live side by side, and just so I don't have to put too many miles on either one.

No..

There are 3 cars in the running, but the Clio V6 is top of the list.(by some way) :approve:

(Other 2 - Cayman 3.4S or a R26R)

3 different takes on 2 seater car options:
All worthy short-listers though...

Vee ownership is essentially esoteric...
until tried; it difficult to explain why the package is so appealing. On paper, I think the other 2 listed would edge it.

I was really tempted with an R26.R, but so glad I got the Vee. Just has a sense of occasion about it wherever you go.

Just watch out for the clutch

And.... If its an occasional drive who cares!??? You won't get much more smile for your dollar anywhere else! Have you driven one yet dan? If you can find a willing owner give it a go that'll make your mind up? Hard choice out of those 3 I agree but put all 3 together the vee wins every time!
