Skipton area meet anyone ?

I've noticed over the last few months that we have some new arrivals to the Club in and around the Yorkshire area :welcome:

I'm always keen to meet up with fellow Vee owners and petolheads to swap Vee stories etc and have a bit of a run out

So I wondered if anyone would be up for a bit of a mini-meet sometime in November around the Skipton area maybe ?

If your interested and available on a Saturday or Sunday then maybe we could get something sorted out

Depending on when in November I'd be well up for this... How about meet in Skipton then have a leisurely blat up to Hawes for breakfast? We could also do A65 all the way to Devils bridge (good bike meet point with sandwich van) but it's a bit boring.

I'm interested. Preferably a Sunday morning as play football Saturday afternoons. Anywhere north of Skipton, Bolton Abbey, ribblehead, hawes is great for driving

Think I'll ask sammyturbo (ex.vee owner) who's now got a modified VX220 turbo, so I recon we've now got enough folk for a little run out.

I was looking at some place of interest and Bolton Abbey could just well be spot on rostinho :approve:

Possible dates then - 18th or 25th ? How do those dates suit chaps ? If eveyone's available on both those dates then we could try and pick the best weather wise maybe, what are your thought's ?

And if there's anyone else who fancies indulging in a bit of Vee-ness, then just add your name to the list

Yeah I'm sure we can accommodate your plans Roystinho , I'll get a meeting place and route sorted.

Can the others that are interested please confirm you can make the 18th for say a 9.30 start in the Skipton area please ?

The plan is meet for a brew n chat, have a little drive out, probably stop off at Bolton Abbey, then stop off somewhere for a Pub lunch

I'm sorry to say as we only have 3 Vee's up for this then I think we'll cancel this one [smilie=icon_exclaim.gif] , maybe we'll try and get something sorted early next year
