When do they come on?

Cant say ive noticed them running.

I can count on one hand the number of times mine have come on in 4 years

Mine come on after I stop following a long/ fast drive. Even in cold temperatures if the engine bay is hot they will come on, when you'd expect really.

Sound like two loud hair dryers, I thought it was great the first time they switched on.
